Automatic Birthdays and Yahrtzeit Emails

This feature enables the system to send out yahrtzeit and birthday reminder emails on your behalf.
 
Letter Setup
  1. Click Settings > Contact Settings > Letters
  2. View: Yahrtzeit or Birthday and click New (+)
  3. Enter the Letter Name, From Email, From Name and Subject
  4. Check the Default check box. Only the default letter will be used for the automated notifications.
  5. For the Email body, enter the text of the letter. If can use from the pre-defined Templates.
  6. Save.
Configure Notifications
  1. Click Settings > Scheduler
  2. On the general tab, make sure the Time Zone, Weekdays and Holiday excludes are set correctly.
  3. Click Birthday Notices or Yahrtzeit Notices and Turn ON that feature.
  4. Set the Days Prior and Time.
Notifications
You may also want to turn on Notifications for yourself, where you can get a "CMS TODAY" email with important things in CMS you may want to follow up on.
  1. Click Notifications and turn ON this feature.
  2. Choose which logins should be notified.
 
Outbox (optional)
If you want to preview the email in your Outbox prior to it being sent, be sure to set up your outbox for the Birthday and Yahrtzeit email types to be Off Line.
